MINING & TRADING COMPANY
Gombu Koko was founded in 2009 as both a mining and trading company. We have established ourselves as the leading exporter of Coltan (Colombite Tantalite) out of the West African region. As well, our extensive relationships in the industry allow us to broker precious metals and rare earth minerals. The materials we have most experience with include Gold, Iron Ore, Copper, Silicon, and Antimonium.

ENVIRONMENTALLY AWARE
Our mining processes are environmentally aware, as we use no harmful chemicals, we have no toxic run-off, and we mine in areas where it is not necessary to destroy plant life in the mining process. We are socially aware as it is part of our mission to develop infrastructure such as housing, medical clinics, schools, and roads in all areas where we mine. We are contractually bound to these ideals with every village we partner with.

We have established ourselves as the leading mining company of Coltan (Colombite Tantalite) in the West African region and the leading exporter of Coltan out of the West African region. Our Coltan mines are located throughout four regions of Sierra Leone, Africa. Our clients span the globe from Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.

We demand that our organization uphold the highest standards for maintaining verified CSR (Corporate Socially Responsible) standards.
We are adamant that our operations are free from mining or dealing conflict minerals and from working in conflict regions. Sierra Leone itself is a class 1 region for mining Coltan, which means that it has the most favorable rating for global trading purposes.
We pride ourselves on complying with JORC code as well as abiding by EICC and RSCM standards.
